2016 ASA Men’s Major Fast Pitch Nationals

2016 held at Sunset Park in Kimberly, Wisconsin on August 4-7.


Champion – NY Gremlins, Clifton Park, New York
Runner Up – A1 Bombers, Ephrata, Pennsylvania


Gremlins jumped out to early lead and captured a 14-1 championship game victory. Ladisao Malarczuk went 3-3 with a HR, 3 RBI and scored 3 Runs. Matt Palazzo went 2-4 with 2 HR. Nick Mullins and Blair Ezeklel both hit 3-Run HR in the 2nd inning as the Gremlins had a commanding 10-0 lead after two.

Gremlins Pitcher Roman Godoy struck out 6 and allowed no ER and gave up 3 hits over 5 innings. Godoy finished the tournament with a 4-0 record. He also had a save and struck out 39 batters in 24 IP. He also hurled a no-hitter.

Andrew Kirkpatrick won the only game he started 8-1 (5 IP, 8 K). Ladisao Malarczuk (11-19, .579, 2 HR, 2 Doubles, 5 RBI, 10 Runs), Blair Ezeklel (7-14, .500, 2 HR, 3 Triples, 7 RBI, 4 Runs), Nick Mullins (4-14, .286, 2 HR, 9 RBI, 4 Runs) and Zenon Winters (7-18, .467) were standouts at the plate.

For the A-1 Bombers, Tyler Dudley (9-21, .429, 3 HR, 5 RBI, 5 Runs) was the leading hitter.
