NY Gremlins behind pitcher Andrew Kirkpatrick eliminated the Kitchener Hallman Twins 7-4 in the loser’s bracket finals to advance to the championship against the defending champs, Hill United Chiefs. The Chiefs behind the pitching of Adam Folkard defeated the Gremlins 7-4 to win the ASA title for the second straight year. Despite Bryan Abrey and Wayne Laulu hitting HR for the Gremlins. The Chiefs got to Losing Pitcher Dean Holoien as Jason Hill and James Todhunter hit home runs and Steve Mullaley was (2-2) with a walk. For the Chiefs, Jason Hill (2 HR), Jeff Ellsworth (Grand Slam) and Craig Crawford also hit big HRs for the Chiefs in the tournament.
